Overall

Had a gift card for Tiffany Nails, which is what is on their sign out fron, their literature in the store as well as their pillows on the pedicure chairs. I saw another couple of ladies have trouble with a gift card, and specifically asked if I was in the right place because I had a gift card also. I was assured I was, and after my pedicure, when I went to pay, was told they hav a new owner and are transitioning to a different name and they refused to take my gift card. I will NOT be back here. They did a very mediocre job on my french pedicure on top of it all. Extremely angry about them lying to me to stay, then refusing my gift card after services were rendered.

Appointments mean nothing here...

Appointments mean nothing here. Made an appointment for 10:30, called to confirm the appointment, arrived at 10:30, by 11:00 still hadn't been seen, left.

You Can't Always Get What You Want...

Previously, Tiffany's was my go to place for nail and beauty care, but recently I have begun to change my tune... Although their prices are a higher than others, I never thought twice because of the quality of treatment I was receiving... [They offer pillows for your lap and back and refreshments...] That was until my last few visits...

I usually make an appointment with Kim or Judy [fantastic technicians and Kim just may be one of the sweetest people on earth], but on this afternoon I didn't and not only did I wait for 10 minutes before someone could help me [which did not bother me too much because I was a "walk in" and they were swamped], but when my technician arrived she didn't even remove her coat and she made it quite clear that I was an inconvenience...

She rushed through the entire process and did not listen to what I was asking for... I prefer my nails EXTREMELY short and square... I think longer nails are beautiful but I break them so easily, and the type of work I do requires short nails... She also would not listen to my request of smoothing out the tops of the acrylic... [They were all uneven and had lumps in them...] She seemed like she had somewhere else to be and could not bother to deal with my requests...

When it came down to painting my nails, I had chosen a very light color [opi's bubble bath], and she did the worst job of painting them... Some of the nails did not have enough nail polish on them and others had so much that it had "globbed" on my nail beds... I was very upset and after having her repaint them once [she did just as horrible of a job the second time as the first] I basically gave up... Feeling defeated, I sat there thinking about where I could go to get them fixed... I looked up and saw Kim coming over... She quietly sat down and without speaking she began to fix everything... I almost cried I was so thankful... I left the salon [after almost two hours] with my nails in tact and a new outlook on Tiffany's...

They have a few technicians that make return business worth while... Others, I am polite when I see them, but would NEVER sit in their station again... I will forever make an appointment and advise others to do so as well...

Overall
nails in a rush

I was referred to this nail salon through a good friend. When I first walked in I thought my experience was going to be a good one........I went in for a pedicure and full gel set, my pedicure was great but I had a tech by the name of Linda for my full set and she was just terrible. She rushed throughout the entire process, never explained to me that my nail would burn with the gel (extreme heat burning sensation) she grabbed each finger while using the machine very rough and fast. I explained to her I had a narrow nail bed but I don't even think she understood me. I think that first impressions are very important. Ninety dollars is not chump change to get a speedy crappy job done. I will try out the other techs in the future to give them the benefit of the doubt but I hope they learn to slow down and speak to their clients. I hope this review helps future clients.
