The Regal Cinemas at Countryside does a good job when it comes to projection. The theater hasn't succumbed to the temptation of dimming its projector bulbs in the mistaken belief that this will prolong the lives of the bulbs.
Also, it doesn't make you sit through long promos and commercials. It has them, but they occur before the published showing time. If you don't want to see them, just get to your seat a few minutes before the published time.
At the published time, the theater shows about 10 minutes of previews, just as movie theaters have done almost since the beginning of their existence. I just wish that they still showed cartoons and shorts.
The staff does a good job of keeping the theaters and the restrooms clean, and it has a good track record of showing quality films. My only complaint is that I wish the theaters were better lit before they dim the lights at the published showing time. It would make it easier to find a seat.
