Steamboat Moxie

Great store, and MUCH cleaner than other consignment stores I've been in. More out of the way than Annie's but Moxie blows her out of the water! Well worth the 5 extra minutes to drive!

Shopping locally is good for the community and I try to patronize local companies. On a scale of 1 to 10, the service at Steamboat Lumber is a 5 nothing to brag about.

There is one guy there that is knowledgeable and helpful. I believe he is a manager. Almost everyone else is rude and unhelpful. It really seemed as if they were very bothered to sell me something.

This lumber company is dedicated to excellence. They take care of their customers in a professional manner, but with personal care. They care about cost and will take the time needed to get exactly what you want at a price you can afford. Stu Kosi is the assistant manager and I have never met a more personable and knowledgeable person in the lumber industry. He studies his market and is constantly trying to learn more. He is never afraid to admit to a mistake and then will immediately correct that mistake, even if it costs the lumber yard money. He will not lie to you and will direct you to other vendors if his prices are too high. I highly recommend this store for all your hardware needs.
