        Overall

        We arrived at 11pm, 6 hours from home. We were given a crib that reaked of smoke and had stains on it. We asked for another but were told there were no more available. When we got into the room, we noticed that the curtains also smelled very strongly of smoke and there were stains throughout the room, hair in the shower and on the bed, and the room was too small for the furniture they packed into it. When we turned on the TV there was a giant black box covering the center of the screen, so you could not watch any channel. We tried to suffer through and lasted til about 12:30am. When we went back to the front desk to complain, we were offered another room on the smoking floor, which was unacceptable with a 1 year old son.



        The General Manager then told us that since we can't be satisfied, it is their policy that we must leave. I explained that it was now 12:30am and we had no where else to go and that we had a toddler with us. He then instructed the front desk clerk to call the police to escort us out. The officer was on our side and said there has been trouble at that hotel in the past. He recommended a few others in the area.



        When we arrived at a Holiday Inn a short time later, our debit card was declined. We checked our bank to discover the Sleep Inn not only authorized the 2 nights I was reserved, but an additional 3 nights worth of authorizations that were ran after they kicked us out. We spoke with our bank to find out the manager actually tried to run our card 6 additional times after we left. This intentional action drained our bank account and we were unable to book a room at another hotel. It was now 2am.



        Choice Rewards offered little assistance the next morning. Stay away from this hotel at all costs! They literally put my family out on the street after midnight, 6 hours from home. We had no money and no place to stay. This guy should be criminally liable for his abuse of credit card billing practices.

        watch out for this place. we had our jewlery stolen and the owner will not even return calls or talk to us . what a coward. had to file police report . stay far away . they are so inconsiderate
