I have been to Dr Anthony 3 times. I have a long term illness and some unfortunate side effects and symptoms. This Dr. gets almost angry if I have more than 1 symptom to discuss. Although I realize there is no cure-the medical literature lists many things that help. I don't believe he reads the medical literature or journals. His nurse was going to make an appointment with another specialist at my request and I said I would call back for the appt info. The next morning she called and was angry that I had not called. She told me to get a pencil-and I said I would call her back. She yelled at me NO!!! Even though the whole office has seen me in a wheelchair or walker, she was angry that I couldn't get out of bed and go search for pen and paper.
Also, while waiting for my appt, I needed to use the restroom. I looked around the waiting room-and there was no restroom door. So I opened the door to the office area and was looking around for it. The office clerk got mad at me for being back there and when I asked where the restrooms were-she said in a "you are so stupid" voice: "it's in the waiting room!" She never told me I had to go outside to another door to find it. Another patient told me and helped me with all the doors.

I went to his clinic once in 2011 and have to say that he the absolutey the rudeist Dr I was ever had the displeasure of seeing. He jumps to harsh conclusions and judges you upon them, then trys to make you feel like your the lowest of the low. I, nor anyone in my family will ever be back.

My family has been using Dr. Anthony for 6 years since we moved to Starkville from out-of-state and he is a wonderful physician. He listens to what the patient has to say and is very kind. He takes walk-in patients which has been very helpful for our family with teenagers who need to be seen before school. I highly recommend Dr. Drew Anthony!

I refuse to visit his clinic again. His bedside manner is rude.
