I absolutely love The Pointe Apartment Complex at MSU! Honestly speaking I wasn't to sure if I was going to like it just because I transferred from another school and the level of adjusting I thought would be extremely difficult but it was everything GREAT! I love how The Pointe has a shuttle to and from campus and is like super convenient to class even without the shuttle. It takes me no time to get to class and the best thing of all that I can appreciate is having transportation in the event I or someone is not able to drive because of drinking we can just call the shuttle and they will be right there. It cuts down on DUI's and it makes the environment for us as students much safer in Starkville. I also like that we don't have any overages and have a flat rate fee of what I'm expected today each month. This way I can plan out my finances and be proactive with paying my rent. I also enjoy the amenities of having tanning beds, 2 clubhouses with pools, and volley ball sand courts and etc. All in all, The Pointe is a pretty cool place to stay but more than ever safe to me, especially as a female. I wouldn't lease with anybody else!
We lived at Rosehill Place for almost two full years. They are not the newest apartments in town, but the management is amazing! They are kind and quick to come help with anything you need. Our fridge didn't work when we moved in so they replaced it with a brand new one. There is an exterminator that comes regularly so the bugs are at a minimum. We did not have a washer/dryer in our unit, but there is a nice laundry room in the complex and a commercial laundromat just across the street. Just a five minute drive from Main Street, it's not too far from all the action but it is far enough away that it is nice and quiet. Very family friendly, no noisy parties or busy traffic and there is a park just down the street. The grounds are well kept and look great. DO NOT let the super low price scare you away, these are great apartments and we'd live here again if we had it to do over. We signed our contract without having seen the apartments and were very nervous. Our plan was to just stay here until we could find something better, but we loved it so much we spent our entire stay in Starkville here in this complex.
After living at 21 for two years, I would highly recommend living there. It's a great transition from dorm life to living on your own. The apartments are furnished, so moving in is super easy. The complex had its issues before, but during my stay, the complex changed office staff. It definitely made a difference. One can tell the new staff is doing their best to correct the mistakes of the old staff and improve the stay of the tenants. I won't try and say 21 is perfect because no apartment complex is, but those who childishly complain about trivial issues need to grow up. Chances are they did something idiotic and are just angry because they were served their due punishment. I suggest that instead of taking the advice of those who are more than likely overreacting and spoiled rotten, go by and take a look for yourself. Only you can decide what's best for you. Good luck apartment hunting!
