If I could give this place a zero I would! My husband dropped off our weedwacker June 2015. He stopped in Sept 2015 and they had just started "working on it"! I just called (May 2016) and they are STILL waiting on parts. Almost a YEAR later! The guy I spoke to over the phone (manager of the service department) treated me with such disrespect. He started yelling at ME! After I told him we are refusing to pay for the service because it's been almost a year....he told me to "Come get it then...they won't be fixing it!" He never even apologized!! I'm just in shock...as a customer, I've never been treated with such disrespect! I would NEVER give that place my business! Stay far, far away!

My wife and I try our hardest to support the small local businesses in our area, even if we have to pay a little more, provided the business earns our business. This place is pathetic. I had a brand new Husqvarna mower. This is a certified Husqvarna dealer. After using it 7 times on my 1-acre yard, it stopped working. I called this place, and service department guy said if I brought it in, they would get it done in a week, and handle payment through the warranty. I dropped it off on a Friday. I didn't hear from them by the following Monday, 10 days after drop-off. I called, and they said that they had not even looked at it yet. They said that they should be able to look at it in the "next day or two", and that it would be done that Friday, a full week after it was originally to be done. I then asked again to verify they would handle the bill through the warranty. I may as well have asked the guy on the phone to explain the meaning of life, given his level of confusion. After putting me on hold for about 5 minutes, he came back to report that he didn't see it written anywhere that they were going to handle the warranty. Friday came and went, so I called on Saturday. They said they had looked at it, but couldn't figure out what the issue was. I called back on Monday, now 20 days after it was to be done, and they said that I hadn't put oil in the machine when I bought it, and that the engine was destroyed. I informed him that I had indeed put oil in the machine when I bought it, and had even added some to it when it stopped working just to make sure there wasn't a leak or something. I also explained that I had actually purchased lawn equipment in the past, and while certainly not the brightest guy on the planet, I did know that an engine needs oil to work. I also asked how the mower could have run for 7 acres without oil in it, assuming his hypothesis was right. This was met with silence, and an "I don't know". He then said he would price what it would take to get it fixed and call me the next day, Tuesday. I was, of course, shocked when I heard nothing from them that day. I called them after work that day, and was informed that the engine had blown, and that my option was to pay them $290 for a new engine, or sell them the mower for $50 and purchase a brand new mower for $300. I reiterated that the machine was obviously faulty, and a new one should be given to me as a result. The guy again said that because there was no oil in it, the warranty wouldn't cover it. I reiterated that I obviously put oil in it, which again was met with no meaningful response. I informed hi that he had admitted ere was no oil in the machine. I told him before I brought it in oil was added just to make sure there wasn't a leak, and given the fact that it had not run since I did that there was obviously a leak, given that he said there was no longer oil in it. I decided we would return it to he big box store we bought it. My wife went by to pick it up the following morning on her way to work. The old man at the front directed her to the back, where the service department guy was very rude, not acknowledging her presence. He then disappeared with someone and didn't come back. She returned to the front of the store and asked the old man for assistance. She informed hi the guy in back was busy, and she had to get to work and only wanted to be pointed to where our mower was. The old guy then barked "Well I'm busy too." We brought it back to Lowes, where they took it back without question, and apologized for the faulty equipment. My next step is to contact Husqvarna and complain about these dealership. This is one small business that shouldn't remain in operation, given their high level of incompetence and rude attitude.

It's a block away and very handy. When I need something for my house or vehicles they usually have what I need...

First time in the store and it will be my last time - what a joke this place is! (The store is stuck in the year 1977, and smells like it too) I stopped in to get some price quotes on a Polaris ATV and Snowmobile. I spoke to a guy named Doug, great guy very friendly and then this older guy came in with another guy and was just bitching about Polaris. He was calling the company "vampires" that Polaris was sucking the life out of him and that they don't care about smaller dealers anymore. He also went on to say that Polaris just sends him units whenever they want and he has no control on what he gets in stock. He just went on and on about how bad Polaris treats him. I asked Doug who that older guy was and he said that was the owner Jim. I thanked Doug and left just shaking my head - I cant believe an owner would speak like that to a potential buyer/customer.

The worst experience I've ever had was dealing with Stacy Hardware service department. Took my ATV in for service and now it won't run at all!!! And the business owner treats everyone the same - LIKE CRAP! Never returning to this store.

Poor Customer Service

Horrible customer service, I was trying to purchase a part for my Polaris ATV and the person behind the parts counter kept answering the phone instead of helping me. When I finally did get my part and went to check out, the older man at the cash register had a crabby attitude and did not even say thank you or have nice day after I paid for my stuff. The store was very old and musty smelling with lots of expired dusty inventory on the shelves. Maybe with a store makeover and some new management it could be a nice small town store but as it is now I am never going back.

Treated like family at Stacy Hardware

I've been doing business with the folks at Stacy Hardware for 5-6 years since we bought a cabin up in Finlayson. I've bought a little of everything from ATVs to tools, cleaning supplies and hardware. I'm consistently impressed with the friendly customer service and their knowledgeable staff. The times I've had issues they've "made it right". I'd definitely recommend a stop in Stacy at the hardware for anyone going up or down the 35. They're just a couple of blocks off the road on the east side of the highway.

Poor Customer Service

Personally I am very flustrated with this store. I have lived in the area for 19 years and every time I go in to the store I wait for ever for customer service. I am to the point that I go to North Branch since there customer service is exceptional. Plus this store is way over priced.

Poor Customer Service

If you are thinking about doing business with Stacy Do It Best, I wouldn't recomend it. Their customer service is terrible. When purchasing paint, I waited 15 minutes for help and ended up walking out of the store because they didn't have enough staff on duty to help their customers.###The issue is they don't have enough staff on duty to handle the customers.
