My friend K and I were in town for the hockey game, while our husbands were out having pregame drinks, we decided ti get our nails done, and the omni hotel suggested Premier Salon. We were both booked with a girl named Lauren initially, then another tech had a client cancel (lucky for us) and she was able to take me. Lauren, while being very sweet did a horrible job on my friend K's nails, she clearly had no idea how to do the axxium service. After my friends nails were done they were bumpy and unevenly pigmented, I asked Kate (my tech) about how we can fix this, she promptly fixed the problem, and re-did K's nails. Both of our axxium manicures turned out perfect (we picked Russian Navy). While we did have a wonderful time I'd like to highlight the good and the bad. The bad - Front desk booked us with an untrained technician and the desk girl had no idea about axxium.. How do you sell it without the desk being educated? Limited color supply of Axxium and polish in general, Manager PLEASE give these techs some new hotter colors, Russian navy was the only one we liked. Music... Opera is so boring. Lauren seemed to have no training in Axxium, Why is she permitted to do them if she has no idea how? Offer more training, or better yet, Ask Kate to train them, shes AMAZING. The good - Kate in general, She had us laughing and smiling the entire service. We felt completely comfortable, unlike some other techs Kate makes you feel like your a beloved and always welcome friend, even if you have never met her before. Highly suggest booking with this sweet girl! Before we even knew she was doing my nails, she advised Lauren how to quickly and comfortable remove my Shellac polish, and offered to remove it herself to save us time. Shes so gentle, unlike other techs i have had. She offered us drinks, and took special care of my very pregnant friend K, making sure she was and baby were comfortable. The salon is very pretty and seems very well maintained They have really yummy coffee. . Cant wait for our next trip to the burg' -M

I got a reccomendation from my hotel and booked my first appointment (a mani/pedi) about a month ago. I was booked with Kate, she is the sweetest girl and to be honest there is not much this kid doesent do. So far I have had a mani/pedi (and continue to get bi-weekly manicures) a brow wax and a bikini wax. She is so comforting you don't even feel strange and uncomfortable getting waxes with her. My friend got a massage with Kate and she won't stop bragging, I'm gonna have to book mine now. At Kates reccomendation I got a facial with Ellen this week, BEST FACIAL of my life. Ellen is very precise and professional while being welcoming and warm. I adore this salon and encourage everyone to go there. The good - The front desk ladies are very friendly and welcoming The manager is extremely kind. (He stopped to have a conversation with us and complimented my nails) Again Kate and Ellen are wonderful service providers. The only thing I did not like was the lack of polish colors. I prefer bold dark shades, however Kate brought me a stunning color in a glitter black. Try premier, they are so worth it.
I shopped around for a beauty salon hoping to meet the right hair stylist with the right price. I decided to try Vince (Owner/Mater Stylist) since I found a Colaizzi’s coupon. (This is a nice way to see how they would do!) Ever since then I am a loyal customer and I feel great about my haircuts. I usually have them color and style my hair. Now, my hair is glossy and shiny (I am 60 years old.). I am very pleased with Vince’s technical skills (He told me he has been cutting hair for more than 30 years.) In the past there was one incident when I felt neglected at Colaizzi’s. Since Vince was easy to talk to, I told him about my frustration. He immediately took action. I also have seen how he manages the salon and I like his straight-forward management style – the best customer service with the highest quality. He easily accomplishes this! The salon’s atmosphere is very friendly and they have many ways for customers to try out their services and products. No wonder Colaizzi’s is always a top recipient of the Best Pittsburgh Award in Beauty Salons. Erika
