The church that cares about you and your family

General Info
Bow Baptist Church Cares about You and Your Family Our Pastor Cares:Since June of 1987, Pastor Walter McDaniel has demonstrated that he cares about his people and all people in the Claremont/Springfield area. From babies to the elderly; from the poor to the rich; from the lost who need to hear of God's saving grace, to the saved who need the nourishment of God's Word, this is the all encompassing motivation of our pastor. Through his preaching, teaching, and counseling he shows his people and this area that he is a pastor who cares. Our People Care:One cannot come to a service at Bow Baptist Church without feeling the warmth of a loving family. There is a closeness seldom felt in this day and age. Our people are friendly and always excited to see new faces. We encourage you to come and feel like one of the family that cares. Our Sunday School Teachers Care:Our graded Sunday School is staffed by dedicated, caring teachers who are concerned for the individual needs of each child. With classes for every age, the Sunday School time is centered around love with a message of salvation and growth. Our teachers care. Our Bus Ministry Workers Care:For children and families in the Claremont/Springfield area who need transportation, we have workers who pick them up at their homes, take them to church, and return them home safely. Each bus has a program of songs and spiritual messages while in route. We care for the people many have forgotten. Our Junior Church Preachers Care:For a time of real excitement and a biblical message, Junior Church is available for children from pre-school through the fifth grade. We care for the young members of your family. Our Musicians Care:"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" is heartfelt in every service at Bow Baptist Church. It is evident throughout God's Word that Christians need the encouragement and blessing of good music. Because we care, our church is committed to the traditional hymns of the faith. Our Youth Leaders Care:In a day when immorality exists and yes, even abounds, our youth are taught morality. They are actively involved in the work of the church. No teenager need feel worthless or unimportant with the many and varied activities that are planned for the young people of Bow Baptist Church. We care about your teenager.

In just a few moments, I can explain to you how you can know How you can be 100% for sure that if you died today, you would go to Heaven. Admit that we all have sinned. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) If you are honest, you know that we have all sinned, even if you have only told a lie. I am a sinner; you are a sinner; all people are sinners. We have all done wrong. The Penalty for Sin is Death and Hell. "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23) "...and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8) Our sins, big or small, deserve to be punished. The Bible tells us that our punishment for sin is death in hell. BUT, you don't have to go to hell! Jesus died to pay for our sins. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, did not deserve to die, but He did it for us, so that we don't have to. He has already paid the debt we owe for our sins. Heaven is a free gift of eternal life. "...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) You accept eternal life in Heaven just as you would a free gift. It costs you nothing; it cost Christ everything. "For by grace are ye saved through faith...Not of works..." (Ephesians 2:8-9) Eternal life in Heaven is yours for the asking! Do you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God? Do you believe He rose from the dead? If you are sorry for your sins and would like God to save you, simply ask Him to."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) Pray a simple prayer to God and sincerely mean it in your heart: "Dear God, I know I am a sinner, and I know I deserve to go to Hell, but I'd like to go to Heaven. Please come into my heart, forgive me of all my sins, and give me that gift of eternal life. Today, the best I know how, I trust You alone as my Saviour. Amen." If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, know that He will never leave you. Please let us know so we can rejoice with you. "...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5)
