Golden Living Center-Springfield

Don't work there but I do have a family member there and my only concern is the lack of staff sometimes and not sure if getting all the care that is needed. Need more of a guideline who to consult with on certain things. Like everywhere else some people are great and some aren't ...

This is a horrible place to work. It is understaffed, high rate of turnover, and the "New" director only cares about her budget. She is mean, hateful and does nothing but tear down her employees in her morning meetings. She fires people who have been there for years who do a good job so they can take the fall for her. The morale is so low in this place you could sink a ship. Golden living hired a person who is uneducated, has no interpersonal or social skills. Even the residents don't like her. She is running the reputation into the ground....her reputation is already out within the community. She is not capable of running a 120 bed facility. This facility needs a well-rounded individual who understands she has certain obligations to the employees to keep a positive work environment...she does not have a clue.....
