Awesome Vet-highly recommend!

We love how she is primarily concerned with her patients. she is straightforward. her costs are so reasonable, and she does not try to sell unnecessary extras! you may have to wait your turn, but if you go in expecting her to be busy, you can prepare. We drive an hour and a half to use her, and will not ever change.

Overall

This vet cares more about your four legged family then she does her facility . It is clean that's all that is important to me . I don't need a classy facility to go to that I would spend more money and get poor care for my pugs . I've never met a vet who honestly cares so much for your animals. She has stayed overnight with my pugs to make they are getting the best care . This vet is awesome and she is always busy . Shame on the rating for how you think her facility looks . Take your pet somewhere else where you can set in a fancy waiting room and get more expensive care . I however will always bring my dogs to someone who really cares more for my extended four legged family

Do NOT take your animals here ...

Do NOT take your animals here unless all you want is the cheapest care in town. Dr. Smith does NOT seem to care much... We just moved from Arizona in March, and needed a new vet for our cat. We brought her to Dr. Smith. First of all, I wanted her to see my cat s medical records but their fax was broken (as usual, it seems) so I brought my cat's medical records in physically. She didn t seem to want to look at them, and didn t even want to keep them for her own records. Our cat had serious health problems, but Dr. Smith didn t seem to take them seriously. She didn t even want to touch her or examine her just because she gets cranky and feisty at the vet, and made us feel bad that our cat was hissing at her. I m sorry, but as a veterinarian you should be prepared to deal with a cranky cat, not make us feel bad about it and refuse to even TRY to touch her or look at her wounds. This should ve been a good warning, but she did give us different meds than her old doctor, and they seemd to help for a bit. However, when those stopped working and we went back, all they did was shove the same meds at us and not want to look at her again, even though she had gotten much worse. Not to mention, they lost our file and had to piece together what meds she was on. They eventually found her file by the next time we brought her but the treatment didn t change. The office was extremely disorganized, but I would put that aside if my cat was getting the attention she needed, which she did not. We needed help for our cat, decided Dr. Smith was DEFINITELY not good enough for our baby, and didn t like the meds she was on, as they seemed to completely change her personality and weren t doing her much good. We ended up bringing her to Deerfield Veterinary (whom I HIGHLY recommend), who took the time to look through her records from Arizona (of course Town&Country did NOT fax her records as I requested) and found out a few more things. It turns out that Dr. Smith had been prescribing her a medication typical given to COWS not to cats, that we were told by our new vet to throw out and not give her again. In addition, our new vet alerted us immediately that she was overdue for 3 booster shots she should ve received in June, We saw Dr. Smith in June and July and she did not once mention her being due for her shots. Basically, if you love your pet, and especially if they need special care, DO NOT bring your pet here. If you just need the cheapest place to get something routine, this place may be ok.

Excellent!!!

Outstanding service. Very compassionate. It is like going to a country veterinarian, both in service and price. Dr. Smith is very experienced medically, and also cares about her patients and their owners. Highly recommend this clinic!

This smaller version of an ani...

This smaller version of an animal hospital leaves much to be desired. We are not a fan of this accumulating junk pile of belongings surrounding this entire establishment. If the veterinary care is reflected on how they keep up their property one can only imagine, frankly it looks like a pig pen. Get some pride and clean up your mess!
