If I eat sushi in springfield I always go to Haruno. My friends that don't venture to eat the sashimi or nigiri LOVE getting their tasty sushi rolls. I like my nigiri, sashimi, chicken katsu, and japanese beer. They need to get toro (it is on the menu but they never have it) and higher quality japanese rice! I think if people got the taste of the stuff they would pay its higher price. My albacore tuna nigiri is almost always very lovely and slightly sweet. The gyoza, I think, needs to be crispier. It does have good flavor and a great vinger soy/ginger dipping sauce. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting good japanese in springfield!!!!!
Great atmosphere, great service, wonderful drinks, and exceptional food. I've traveled the country coast to coast, and had sushi everywhere in between. But nothing compares to the delicacy of Haruno's sushi. Whether you're a sushi rookie or a veteran, Haruno is the place to go.
