The Thomson Law Firm serves the estate planning, probate, and asset protection needs of individuals, families, and businesses in The Woodlands and Spring, Texas. Our mission is to provide clients with custom-tailored solutions that address critical legal needs and provide peace of mind that comes from knowing that: 1. You have a well-crafted plan; 2. Your loved ones will be provided for; 3. People, entities, or governments that you don’t want to benefit from your death won’t; 4. The value you’ve received is greater than the cost of the plan. Robert Thomson, J.D., limits his practice to estate planning, probate, and business law/asset protection planning, and is dedicated to pursuing mastery in these areas for the benefit of his clients. To that end, he has become a member of the Houston Bar Association Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section, The State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law and Business Law Sections, and The College of the State Bar of Texas. In addition, he has amassed over 300 hours of Continuing Legal Education since 2012 (the minimum for attorneys is 15 hours per year). Mr. Thomson was awarded the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree by South Texas College of Law, where he was involved in the Estate Planning Clinic, Varsity Moot Court, and served as Magister of Wood Inn of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi. He completed his undergraduate studies in music at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he served in numerous leadership positions and was awarded the coveted Performer’s Certificate. Mr. Thomson lives in the Woodlands with his wife, Charlene, and their three wonderful children. He serves as a Judge Advocate in the Texas Army National Guard and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
