I had purchased my wedding dress from the From From Jordan Princess Bridal Boutique in Spring, Texas. I was able to acquire a beautiful Allure Couture wedding gown (C188) in a dress sample sale. A normally $3,000+ dress I snagged for a mere $1,200 - I love a great bargain! Since it was a dress right off the racks, and since it was the sample dress who knows how many other ladies had tried on, needless to say the dress needed a tad bit of TLC. The dress is completely covered in beads and crystals, and repeated trying on of the dress had caused a few of the beads to come loose and there were a few holes in the lace of the dress. The dress also had these weird 1980s-Madonna-Cone-Boobs going on, and those had to go. These may sound like tedious-nit-picky items, but it was nothing that Michelle couldn't handle. She reattached any and all loose beads, the patched up the holes (you can't even tell that there use to be holes there, I swear to you this woman must be magical because I still wondering how she was able to do that!), the Madonna-Boobs have been replaced with a more natural bust, and she also hemmed the dress some since I am getting married on the beach in Honduras - this was done so I wouldn't trip on my dress and face plant. Michelle is amazing, she was highly recommended by the Princess Bridal when I had initially called them to schedule my alterations appointment but their seamstress had left. Honestly, I am happy they didn't have an in house seamstress or I would have never met Michelle. She is kind, respectful of time and budget, and will do just about anything to make a bride's dream dress come true. She is now working on the alterations for my sister's maid of honor dress. And in keeping in fashion with the bride, her dress is covered in crystals as well! Needless to say I am more than positive that Michelle will work wonders on my sister's dress as well. Thanks Michelle for making me look and feel amazing in my wedding dress! Weddingwire 01/07/2014 Services Used: Dress & Attire
I review bakeries very often and sneak in under the radar without telling the owners that I am a wedding/bakery reviewer just so I can get a genuine reaction of the bakery and the way it is ran. This bakery specializes in cake balls and pie balls and they know what they are doing! I tried what they said was the "best seller" (pecan pie ball) and that was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. I have seen cake balls done before, but this woman started the "pie ball" thing and she has got it right. It's her grandmother's pecan pie recipe that she puts inside a ball of chocolate!!!! I would suggest this place for brides, event/wedding planners, basically anyone that wants a unique delicious dessert. In addition to their delicious products, the owners were such nice down-to-earth people, that they will succeed on customer service alone! Do yourself a favor, visit Angel Wings Bakery and get the pecan pie ball...you won't regret it!
My sister and I have had the absolute best experience wedding dress shopping because of Princess Bridal. We went on a Saturday on a whim and didn't have an appointment. We were immediately helped and told we could try on a couple but couldn't have the help we could have had with an appointment since weekends are very busy for them. After my sister tried on a few they had us fill out some information and plan an appointment for further dress shopping. To our surprise, they scheduled us immediately and had us back the very next day. The owner was personally helping us and we had a fabulous afternoon with her. That day we found THE DRESS! Princess Bridal treated us like friends and did everything they could to accommodate us. I will definitely be back to purchase my wedding dress there someday.
