Please DON'T take your fur babies to this groomer! We took our small family puppy to this location and a couple hours later they called stating that there had been an accident. First they said that our puppy jumped out of the cage but later the truth came out and our puppy was dropped and severely injured by one of the groomers. We didn't receive an apology from the groomer and our puppy has a fractured vertebrae and injured spine. He has lost all function in his little legs. Please protect your pets and DON'T take them to this location. Don't Let Debbie touch your family pet!!!

I brought my dog in for a nail trimming. My husband let them know before we arrived that our pup does not enjoy getting his nails cut and has had difficulty in the past. We were reassured that it would be fine, and they had 5 people on staff that could help. When we arrived, I first asked for a muzzle knowing that Justice would be upset. He fought being put on the table, so a choker collar was used. Another gentleman then put Justice in a headlock. He continued to fight and thrash. After 2-3 nails had been ground down, I asked the groomer to stop letting them know that Justice was injured. I brought Justice's blood red eye to his attention. He said the muzzle was causing the redness and adjusted it. After finishing the paw, Justice was still beyond upset and I asked the groomer to stop. When I got home, the irritated eye was swollen with all white being blood red. 8 hours later the eye is still bloody and swollen after being strangled at April's grooming. If you have a pet that will not calmly cooperate with the groomer, look for another location that will not send you home with an injured pet.

It was a long wait, but well worth it. l couldn't believe how calm my 2 cats were. Sage who is standoffish with everyone but me, allowed Carlos to remove her from the carrier & didn't hiss once. Good job guys.

The most amazing place i have ever been. Not only do they care about my pets and their needs but me as well. Every time i walk in there with my 2 dogs they are so happy to go in. They dont cry or look back, they just wag their tails and give kisses. I can always count on Santo and Carlos asking how ive been and truely listen and as i walk out the door i can always count on a hug. When i come back to pick up by babies they look amazing. For 12 years i have NEVER seen a bad haircut on any of the animals. I love taking my babies here. Thanks guys for being so friendly and caring and for being the most amazing groomers in town!!!

I wish I knew why bad groomers are allowed to find a place of employment in this field...I get tired of seeing bad grooming jobs come into my place to be "fixed"...Why also does a groomer think that putting on bows and polish on top of a bad haircut hides this fact...Get the haircut right...Forget all the flash and trash...Or better yet...Go get another job...This is not for you...April's should give there employees a test and not just take their word on their experience...A number of years of experience does not make you a good groomer...It makes you one who has been lucky.

I have been taking my two big dogs to April's for several years and would not even think of going anywhere else. They are fantastic with all the animals (my dogs actually like to go) and they do a wonderful job! My dogs always look and smell like a million bucks when I bring them home! And their prices are the best...worth every penny knowing that my dogs are well taken care of!

april pet grooming is a wonderful place for dog, cat, etc, they treat your animal like gold, they are extremly good, i recomend them with my eyes close. very responsible place.
