Well I received my new bill today dated 1/21/2016 and I see the customer charge went from $25.00 to $30.00per month. This charge is ridiculous. What is it for? No one seems to know. Just because we have no choice but to use them doesn't mean they should be able to take advantage of their customers. Even if you use no electricity at your place for the month you still have this fee to pay. The government or someone needs to step in and put a stop to this. It is plain stealing from their customers so they can line their pockets. I think every penny of this so called customer charge should be refunded to each customer from the time they started charging it. There's got to be something someone can do to stop this. It's hard enough for people to pay their bills yet alone pay for something that doesn't have any merit.

I have had WREC since 1995. The rates are lower than all other companies. I have blinks and some outages but not nearly as many as I had with Tampa electric. The end of the year dividends are fantastic. Operation roundup has helped people I know. You cannot get a job there unless someone retires. They are good to the employees and treat them with respect. Three cheers for Mr. Billy Brown.
