Dr. Burns is very approachable. It is like talking with someone you immediately click with but then she points things out that shows she really heard what you said. When she told me about treatment options I realized she knew her stuff. I asked her about meds my sister takes and she explained the why other options were better for me and why the medication alone was selling myself short. I see Dr. Burns for medication and talk therapy and I really like her. The office is really nice and very discrete. I like the private waiting room and the fact that I do not have to see other people I might know. Overall I'd say Dr. Burns is a really good psychiatrist.
I think very highly of Dr. Steeves. I have seen many neurologists and the majority have been very arrogant. Dr. Steeves doesn't talk "down to you." I have recommended Dr. Steeves to many friends. I hope that I didn't "burn my bridge with him;" One of the assistants left a message on my answering machine to reschedule. She didn't leave a date and said that she would call back. She did, gave my wife the information, but my wife neglected to relay the information to me (Her bad). Just recently I went in for an appointment, but I was a day late (My bad). I hope that he will keep me as a patient.
