Bertis & Wieber

I have been a renter for approx 4 months and I will give them high marks. They have taken care of all my requests in a prompt matter. I am very happy with Bertis & Wieber

Bertis and wieber are the worst as far as management. We moved out of a duplex on Dec 31st 2014.. they sent us a letter that we got on the 22nd of January telling us we owed over 500$ even after the deposit they had of 550$. We finally may 1st had to send them a letter because they told us not to contact them or come in to talk to them. The owners completely remodeled the duplex..completely gutted it out. We got a letter from the owners not the management company who made the letter very personal. It's almost been 5 months and we are only getting half of our money back. Pretty sad when they even make the owner deal w their misakes. DO NOT RENT FROM BERTIS AND WIEBER!!

Bertis and Wieber manage a rental house on my block. Since the tenants have moved in the once green grass is now a yard of dirt and weeds. They have a junk car parked in the front yard that their kids jump and climb on. It really is an eyesore on our block. I have contacted the owner and the catch 22 is he is in a contract with Bertis and Wieber so his hands are tied on enforcement of keeping up the property. Shame on Bertis and Wieber for being slum lords! If you are an owner do yourself a favor and stay away from this management company. I would suspect that the one and only good review they have is written by them.

I use Bertis and Wieber as a management company. My revenues from rentals nearly doubled after they took over. They are generally prompt to take care of problems. Tenants need to realize that there is a lot of work involved in renting a property. Vic almost always takes my calls, and we talk about solutions, whiich get cimplemented. Problem tenants who refuse to keep up the place should be evicted. This is generally not Bertis and Wieber's call, but the owner of the property. Vic has hired one company already to clean up a mess made by a tenant, and has been willing to place notices on property for inspection. Somethiing to bear in mind is that Bertis and Wieber must follow the tenant act, which can be cumberson, expensive, and time-consuming. I wish I would have hired them sooner. I no longer have the headache of managing properties. Even "good" tenants can be a lot of work.
