        Hello, just wanted to correct the person from Georgia.

        I'm a customer and yes it's not German food.

        Because the owner is Austrian.......

        Gerhard is a wonderful person and the atmosphere is cozy

        and laid back on one side and formal on the other side.

        Perhaps, the lady from Georgia should have opened the door to her left which

        would be the formal, quiet side...

        Great place to divide your mood for the day..

        So not german

        The REALLY loud heavy metal rock blasting in your ears does not distract from the fact that the menu is only a half-hearted attempt at german food. There wasn't even any standard fare such as weiner schnietzel, spaetzle, goulash, breads or desserts. The most german thing about the restaurant is the name, that's it. * I did not see the video until after I wrote this review. We visited the restaurant just 2 months ago, if they have changed it to actually have the german food and atmosphere we may try agian. We have been going to Helen GA for authentic german food and have been looking for a good restaurant in the upstate for real German food.
