        I’ve attended a wedding here before and it was amazing! The atmosphere and scenery was beautiful with the lake and having the option to view it on the boardwalk. The service was superb!! There was always a server available to help and they all went above and beyond to make your experience celebrating a friend’s wedding amazing. Then I decided to try the restaurant which is associated with the country club with some friends. What a difference in service…the restaurant’s service on a scale from 1-10 was a 1. In comparison to the wedding staff, which was a 10! I couldn’t believe that this was the same place but obviously not the same servers. I had high expectations and I was very disappointed. Drinks took up to 10 minutes to get, and it wasn’t that busy and empty water glasses didn’t get filled for about 15 minutes. I would definitely come to another event here, not the restaurant unless service is the same as it was at the wedding!

        Established in 1929, Lake Mohawk Country Club provides a range of recreational opportunities for business and leisure travelers. Its interior features cathedral ceilings and chandeliers. The club has a ballroom that provides catering services for formal and informal occasions, such as weddings and business meetings. Lake Mohawk Country Club serves meatballs, wraps, corn dog nuggets, stuffed mushrooms, salads, baked potatoes and pasta dishes. Its dessert menu includes carrot cake and brownie pie. Lake Mohawk Country Club has a meeting room that can accommodate more than 400 guests for seminars, trade shows and expositions. In addition, it offers alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, such as beer, wines and juices.
