        My husband and I stopped in at the Olive Garden for dinner. We had not been out to dinner in a long time and so this was going to be a big treat for us.



        In a nut-shell: For starters, we were seated in a tiny table next to where the waitresses and bus boys come in and out of the kitchen, so we were constantly being bumped into by their hurried frenzy. Next...the appetizers were overcooked to the point that they tasted burnt. My dinner of Apricot Chicken, was horrible. The chicken was very undercooked...it was pink. I sent it back. The manager came out and said that they checked the chicken with a thermometer and the thermometer read that it had been cooked just fine. I simply said that I did not care to eat raw chicken or anything else that was on the plate with the chicken. They did not charge us for the meal, but made me feel as though I should have eaten it.



        My husband's dish was not very good either. He ordered the chicken scampi. It should be called chicken skimpie because there was not enough food in his bowl to feed my puppy. Plus he felt bad that I did not have any food to join him with.



        The whole experience was a huge disappointment...and it still costed us $30.00 for one bowl of chicken skimpie and some burnt appetizers.
