I was referred to Jack's Auto repair by my brother in law, which came highly recommended! Each and everytime I've called and or come in, I've always been made to feel like I was the only person there! It's definitely customer service satisfaction, and get the job done right kind of place! Each time I call, I speak directly with Mike (the owner), and he takes the time to listen to the situation, and advise appropriately! They're fast and fair! I'll definitely pass along the good word about this business, and send people here. You can't go wrong. Thank you Mike and Staff at Jacks Auto Repair!
My wife and I have been taking our cars to Mike for about a year now and we have always found his work to be top quality at a fair price. Mike is a highly experienced technician with lots of personal experience on just about any car out there. One thing I really like about him is that he is honest to a fault. He will tell you the truth no matter how much you don't want to hear it. If I called him about a car and he tells me to sell it, I'd sell it.
What I also like about him is that he will always tell us the same thing, whether he's talking to my wife or myself. I highly respect that he doesn't take advantage of women or people that don't know much about their car. My wife once took our car to Pro1 Automotive for a LOF and when she picked it up they told her they had to replace the oil pan drain plug because the old one was worn out. What a load of BS. In the 30 years I've tinkered with cars, both as a professional mechanic and tinkering with my own cars, I've never seen a worn out oil pan bolt. Mike doesn't pull crap like that.
I had been taking my vehicles to Mike for about 5 years, and have given him thousands of dollars in business. I have also referred many of my friend's to Mike. My 19 year old son was having problems with his Honda Civic, So, I decided to give Mike a call to see if he could help me out. I simply wanted him to look at the car, and give us an idea of what it could be. I didn't want anything for free, was willing to pay. When I phoned the shop, Mike's wife answered, and stated that Mike was on another line, Can I hold? I told her no problem. . She got back on the phone and said, "Mike says you should just sell it." I said "Sell it?" She answered, "That's what he said." I in turn told her, "He doesn't even know the problem!" And her response was "I know!" Talk about unprofessional!! I took it to Robert who owns a shop on Freeport Blvd, He fixed the problem in about an hour! I will never, never give Mike another penny!
