Re: info from Civil Division of the Sparks Justice Court After 2 weeks of calling every entity I could and having rude, ill-temped workers, with incorrect answers, and just bounced around to someone else, I had the best conversation with a woman from this division. She was articulate, well versed in actual law regarding landlord/tenant notices. She was caring and listened to the very involved tough situation we are facing, including hoping the Police Dept. can give us more than just "stand-by" in case we are assaulted. The police dept. is already prosecuting tenant for battery against me, so I feel tentative about following through with proper procedures under the circumstance, but have power of attorney in order to protect by 86 year old Dad from this issue. Thank you (wish I had written your name down) kind person for being calm, caring and knowledgeable at your job. It restores faith that human dignity does exist in the busy legal systems.
