Victoria's Secret

Poor customer service and also corporate customer service. The exchange policy throughout Victoria's Secret is horrible. I recently moved here and had received a pair of "in-store now" flannel pajamas as a going away gift. All I wanted was to exchange the size of the PJs. I brought them in the store in a gift box inside a gift bag with the $54.50 tags still on them. Victoria's Secret exchange policy only benefits Victoria's Secret. The only thing they would do is give me a $4.99 credit towards the purchase either the $54.50 PJs or something else. Keep in mind this is current inventory and all I wanted was to exchange a size. The corporate customer "no service" person I talked with actually almost insinuated that they had no way of knowing that these had even been purchased. What??? She did offer me the $34.99 credit towards something. She said her records show that they had been on sale for $19.99 and that was all they had to give someone without a receipt even if they were ONLY exchanging, but she would give me $34.99. So to all of you who are thinking about purchasing Christmas gifts or any other gifts from Victoria's Secret think twice. By all means make sure you get a receipt and give to the recipient so they will not have to go through an experience like I went through. Better yet, buy your products ftom somewhere that appreciates you as a customer. To me this policy only protects Victoria's Secret and indirectly they are stealing from customers. My friend that gave them to me as a gift is trying to find her receipt.... believe me she paid more than $4.99. The young lady said something about they were purchased with Victoria's Secret Rewards. My friend does not have Victoria's Secret Rewards, and without a receipt they had no idea how they had been paid for. IT IS current inventory and an exchange only. I so hope she finds the receipt because not only did she give me the PJs but she also gave me two other products. I want her money returned to her.
