        Overall

        Had my transmission repaired here on 11/18/14. Service was outstanding. Very professional and even gave me a ride back home since I had to leave the car with them all day. To top that off when I picked the car up the next morning it was 25 degress out. They warmed my car up and scrapped the ice off of the windshield for me! I will be back for any transmission repairs.         We took our car here on the advice of friends. Our 2007 Edge started having severe transmission shudder. The initial verbal estimate was around $2000. The final outcome was closer to $4000! Then while my wife was driving home, she noticed a crack in our windshield. We immediately called them and were told to bring it back in the morning because because they were closed. Once we got back up there we were pretty much told, "Well, my guys didn't do that. That's what you have insurance for."

        I know my car very well and I know the windshield was NOT cracked before it went up there.

        You would think they would go on the premise the customer is always right and not assume there was no way it could have happened in their shop!

        Joe S. Thank you for your review and for mentioning the fine folks that referred you. We have been doing business with their entire family for years. I empathize with you that transmission repair cost is almost as bad as having to go to the dentist, and that your repair was not closer to a very general average cost. Unfortunately your actual problem (once inspected) was much worse than your general verbal complaint. Your transmission had to have an entire pump assembly along with the other transmission overhaul parts. In addition there were other repairs/parts that were performed and not related to the transmission complaint. Not to mention that we performed updates to your transmission that are inherent weaknesses directly from the manufacturer. We road tested your vehicle a number of times and detailed the vehicle inside and out prior to you picking it up and none of our staff noticed the rock chip in the windshield.         Had brakes replaced here. They were very professional! They even shuttled me to a nearby coffee shop to do some work while I waited. Highly recommended! Thanks from Benefits Negotiator
