Save your money! Al broke several items while changing the transmission, then refused to honor the warranty.

My mother recently had her veichle worked in here and told me about Als trans shop. Was having issues with my clutch going out and gears grinding when i shifted. After a days work they had my 96 sunfire 5 speed manual back on the road and running very well. thank you Al. Great business and great shop.

When having trans problems with my 2005 Mercury Monterey mini van I surfed the web to find a good trans shop. I read such good reviews about Al's Transmission Shop. So I decided to take my van there. Boy am I glad I did! Al did such great work! Not only 4 months later my 2005 Ford Taurus trans went out on me. Well needless to say I knew right where to take it. But on the the mini van I had extended warranty coverage but on the Taurus I had none. I was hurting financially but Al worked with me to make sure I could get the trans fixed at a price I could manage. I can't say enough positive things about Al. He's a great mechanic and he treats ya like a long lost friend. Thanks Al!!

Incredibly helpful, caring, and honest. I couldn't believe the care Al took with my car and how thorough of a job that was done. I initially called for the business hours on Easter Sunday, and was completely shocked that he answered the phone and was able to reassure me that I was coming to the right place with the diagnostic information I gave him. The transmission on my 2005 Ford Expedition went out. I called Al's Transmission & Auto Repair. They were extremely friendly, helpful and informative regarding all possible repair options and services. Several options were available regarding warranty length. They were eager to explain what had happened to my transmission and showed me all the internal parts that were damaged. I had my vehicle completed in two days. I am from out of state and bought a car at auction a few weeks ago. Was having trouble with my transmutation in a 2003 mercury mountainer. Took it to Als hr did a free test drive and free diognostic test and we left it with him for three days he said he'd keep it under a certain price amd he did. We took the car when it was done and a few days later still had a problem we took it back and he did some more work on it but put us in a rental ( that he paid for) and kept the far. It was better when we got it back but after being shut off and sitting for a while had the same problem. We took it back and he said he would do what it takes to fix it and he did just that!! Al wad a man of his word even when we doubyed him. He still kept to his word and finally thinking outside the box we got the problem fixed. Thanks Al now we can have a safe trip back to texas when we leave. I told my mom if she has any problems take it to Al's. I feel very comfortable sending her there and he won't take advantagd of her and be true to his word no matter what problems are run into.

I brought my 2003 Chevy Cavalier to Al for a second opinion because another shop had told me that I needed a "complete rebuild" on my little car that only had 78,000 miles. Al and his guys had my car fixed the same day and saved me TONS of money, come to find out it was just a sensor for my speedometer? The guys at Al's are great!!

I had my 1994 Pontiac Firebird transmission built for a very reasonable price, The customer service was great the technician explained everything to me in great detail and allowed me to watch him install the high performance parts while he was doing the build, I have been to allot of shops that don't even allow you to watch through a window there always telling you to "let my guy work" Not here! very good experience A++++

My husband and I took our 98 F150 to Al's for a transmission repair. The price was cheaper than most and the service was great! I recommend them to anyone:)
