I had a very good experience with Southgate Goldmine. I was looking to sell some scrap jewlery that I had laying around so I called around to several different businesses that advertised they buy gold. I was quoted anywhere between $3.00 and $10.00 a gram. One particular business on Fort Street (won't mention name but they know who they are) told me over the phone that they pay $10.40 a gram. I went there and then was told that they pay $6.00 a gram. Why someone would lie over the phone I have no idea. I wasted gas going there just to be lied to! I went to a couple of other businesses and they were offering between $3.00 and $5.00 a gram. Southgate Goldmine was offering $9.00 a gram! Much more than any others I called. The owner there was very friendly and honest and seemed to be concerned that I was happy with his offer and satisfied with my sale. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in getting rid of scrap jewlery!
i sold my 14 k necklace and bracelet for $690.00 after i realized how much the southgate goldmine was paying for gold jewelry. a neighbor sold scrap and recieved more than anywhere else. another friend of mine recieved $40 from the t v commercial rip offs. i recommend this store for selling gold any time you need money. great service. four stars.
I just walked out with $875.00 CASH! I went all over Southgate to the new places that have popped up and advertise they pay the most. Well they didn't even come close and I wasted my time and gas. Southgate Gold Mine has been there for years for a good reason... They are fair, honest and most of all... give you cash on the spot!
