I was referred to QCAR by Metropolitan Auto Detail (King 5 best of western Washington) based on the positive feedback they had received from their detail clients over the many years. My 2008 SL550 needed a complete paint job from bare metal. To say I was apprehensive has merit. I am a man who "does not confuse movement with action", so to say my standards are high is an understatement. There are four principles that must be followed for a successful outcome and absolute customer satisfaction. I call them LAER principles and these fundamentals work. LISTEN: QCAR genuinely listened to my issues and concerns. Cannot fix what you don't know. ACKNOWLEDGE: QCAR understands that "people wish to know how much you care, before they care how much you know." EXPLORE: QCAR worked tirelessly to find options to resolve my concerns and issues. RESPOND: QCAR did not confuse movement with action by following thru on all commitments and thereby resolving issues even before they presented themselves. I cannot guarantee your car will be fixed overnight due to the fact they are busy and with good reason. If you want to be treated like family and have peace of mind knowing your car will be fixed perfectly the first time the choice is easy. FYI: My neighbors and colleagues thought I had bought a new car.

Outstanding service! Simba has become our car service place of choice for both our cars. We used to service the Prius at the Toyota dealership and for the Volvo we have shopped around at many places, most often being either unsatisfied with the quality of service or with the prices which seemed unreasonably high. All of that changed with Simba. Amin the owner is very focused on giving you the best possible service and that means the following - fixing the car quickly, doing it well and being very reasonable with the prices. Recently I had to change the Turbo on the Volvo - I gave it to a service place in Bellevue and they kept the car for 6 months before finally fixing it. But they didn't fix a leak in the tubes which caused the engine coolant to drain very quickly. So they did a half baked job while giving me a hefty bill. When I took it to Simba, he immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Amin has over 30 years of experience in this business and it shows. They recently moved to Redmond from Mercer Island and guess what - many of their Mercer Island customers bring their vehicles to him. Not a surprise at all. A gem of a business!
I was in a pretty bad car accident (not my fault) in 1998 and at that time my car was 17 yrs old (1981 Honda Accord and still going strong). My car's paint color wasn't available at the time, so they had to mix it themselves. Well, they found the parts needed (fender, door, hood, and even put on the pin stripes that no longer existed at no extra charge) and before I knew it, they finished. I have to admit I was nervous, but... when I picked up my car, I couldn't believe it... I couldn't tell, nor could anyone else, tell that my vehicle was ever in an accident... I dropped off & picked up my car in 1999 and now 11 yrs later, it still looks great... Well what's funny is that I was recently in a car accident with my Jeep Wrangler (also not my fault), I made a huge mistake, let my insurance co. talk me into using their paint shop (as opposed to Millen or the other auto insurance's paint shop) and they did a horrible job... lesson learned... From now on I will always go to Millen!
