Chim Chimney

I can't rave enough about the Chim Chimney team that came to my home. They arrived promptly, did a complete assessment of the situation and provided me options on how to address the removal of the birds that had made a nest in my fireplace. They removed the birds as humanly as possible and ensured that my fireplace was safe to operate. They did not try scare tactics to upcharge me. They told me exactly what they were going to do, and charged me a fair rate. I would recommend this family owned company to anyone.

We just had them replace our chimney liner and I can't say enough good things about Joe and Chim-Chimney. Joe is honest and does excellent work. We're having him do another project for us before the end of the summer.

Good old fashioned customer service. I call Joe on short notice with a question - he came out right away to take a look, got my problem squared away and made some really important recommendations while he was here. He showed me everything he looked out and explained what was happening, and gave me a very reasonable quote to have the work done, which we will do before next season. I've been in my house for fifteen years and was pleased to finally find a knowledgable and affordable chimney cleaner. My search stopped a couple years ago when I found Chim Chimney. Two thumbs up!

We had a serious problem with our fireplace chimney--smoke was coming out everywhere except out of the chimney! The guys from Chim-Chimney arrived promptly, diagnosed the problems, and fixed the cracks and poorly working damper system very nicely. We will now be able to enjoy our fireplace again. I scheduled a free fire place flue inspection with Chim Chimney. Joe and Jim arrived on time, calling ahead to inform me that they were close to arrival. Since it had been many years since the last cleaning, I was not surprised to hear it needed to be cleaned. The job was done without a mess or damage to any of our property. They were both curteous and professional.



Jim inspected our flue clean-out and showed me that it too needed to be cleaned. I was not pressured to have them do the work since it was something I could easily do myself, saving money in the process. Jim also replaced a cap on top of the chimney that had blown off during a previous storm.



During my conversation to schedule the inspection, Joe's mother (truly, a family business) gave me an estimate for cleaning, if required. When at time of payment, I mentioned the amount, I was actually charged less, as Joe said "We're having a special promotion". I also felt the amount charged to replace the cap was very reasonable. That"s what I call a fair deal.



Joe showed me that the outside of our chimney needs some spot pointing. There is no dought, I will call them when I'm ready to have it done. To anyone requiring chimney work, I highly recommend you consider Chim Chimney.

Our 38 year old chimney had numerous cracks in the exterior cement and our damper had rusted out. Chim Chimney recemented and applied a stucco finish to the exterior, made a repair to the interior and installed a new damper. Throughout the project, Joe, Chris & John performed professionally and capably. Even Joe's mother (yes, this a family business) kept in touch to let me know when to expect the "crew" to arrive. They were flexible so that I could be home while some of the work was taking place. We look forward to using our fireplace this fall, but in the meantime, we are enjoying the new exterior stucco (which matches out siding). Bill Bauer, Warminster, PA.
