I've been sending my daughter here since she was 11 months old. She spent 2 months in the infant room, which she loved despite my initially thinking it was a bit small. She'd cry in the morning when I dropped her off (typical), but when I spied on her before picking her up, she was always laughing, running around, and playing with her friends. She is now in the young toddler class & is transitioning quite well. She's now exposed to the "big" kids & is getting to do more fun activities. I agree with some previous reviews in that it can be quite difficult getting information from King's Kids. The office manager is a sweet lady, but often times my phone calls don't get answered in a timely manner & that can be frustrating. My best advice is to visit the center & forego the phone conversation. Ms. Hall, the director, is wonderful! The teachers at the center truly care for the kids & the kids adore them. Please note that kids >2 years are required to be uniform during the school year. There are strict rules & penalties regarding late drop-offs, late pick-ups, being out of uniform, late tuition, etc. However, these are fair & I've never had an issue meeting these rules. If you give the center notice, you have 2 weeks of vacation that you do need to pay.

Little Wonders Day Care Center is a wonderful place for your little ones. I am a parent of a 9 year old who attended from the age of 18 months upto and including Kindergarten. My son is an A student, on the Honor roll and his class persident. The skils that Little Wonders gave to my son are those of dedication and love of learning. My 2 year old has just began attending Little Wonders one month ago. Whiting days she knew colors, letters, numbers, shapes, songs and poems. I always knew she was very smart, but it is the dedicated, educated teachers that are able to bring out the best of every child. Little Wonders feels like home. The teachers have not changed in all of these years, that means stability. The owner is wonderful, she is understanding and caring. Always available to help or just listen. It's a safe, warm, wondeful environment. No wonder the children never want to leave. Little Wonders Day Care Center, I would give you 10 Stars, but I am only able to give 5. Thank you. Eva
This is the best school with best teachers. Great location in center city Philly. All teachers from Infant class to Pre-school class and administration staffs remember my kids' name. They are so friendly to EACH kid, which means no preference, no discriminations as I've observed so far. I sent my toddler to Bright Horizon center city when he was 16 months, he did cry for few weeks when I dropped him off, but now he doesn't even bother to say bye to me when I'm leaving. He likes his teachers in Toddler class. It's a very new center, so facilities are new. Most toys are made up of safe wooden material, which are also the first choice when I buy toys for my son. Anyway, my second baby is on the way, I have just got the registration form today and my second one will go to the same center as his big brother!
My daughter has been at Wee Care since she was 10 weeks old. I can't say enough great things about the staff and the excellent care that my daughter gets day in and day out. I have had no issues, the staff is extremely friendly, they are always sending home little "gifts" to us from our daughter such as pictures of her or cards with her finger prints on them, etc. The other parents are also very friendly and there is a great sense of community. We are currently considering moving, but one of the things that is holding us back is the thought of having to move our daughter out of Wee Care. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to the other centers we explored. Excellent place!!
This is one of the best day care in the world, I put my child in this daycare and they treated her very nice, it was like leaving my child with a family member , that is how comfortable I felt leaving my child. There were days when she wanted to stay, she loved it there. The teacher were very nice, and kind to each and every child, they greet the parents with a smiles and they do learning projects and they take the children out for walks and to the park and they are great with the kids, they do alot of projects with themes. My daughter hated to leave the program but, it was time for her to go to Kindergarden and leave the program. They are truly guardian angels.
Summit Children's Program reflects the Mt. Airy community that it has been part of for decades: it is a diverse and inclusive place where kids and parents of all backgrounds are welcomed. Parents are involved with the program volunteering to organize fun-day fundraisers and sharing their skills on the board that directs the program and in the classrooms with the children. I sent two kids here and was especially happy with the caring, dedicated teachers who are the consistent core to the program and the multiple outdoor play areas and activities the children enjoyed all year round.
Little Charlie's Academy is a wonderful daycare center. As an overprotective parent I don't trust just anyone with my children. I am very happy with this daycare and wouldn't have my children anywhere else. Very friendly and professional staff, great environment, and I love that it is very colorful. They always have creative , educational, fun events. My children always comes home happy and talking about their day at daycare. They have a great before and after care service. I recommend this daycare for anyone looking to enroll their child/children into daycare.
They love their children. The director, sings to them, making up special songs for each one. Apple blossom is like a home - it's like having a nanny in a small day care setting. Even the children know each parent! As soon as I walk through the door, they scream my child's name and yell "it's your mom!" I would refer them to anyone. my daughter was reading at age four. if you like small and family-like with a good education, it's the place for you. Most important, they genuinely take the time to get to know each child. they love them and it shows.
Absolutely LOVE this daycare. I have two kids one that will be 3 and another that will be 1 soon i cannot get my son to stop asking me to take him to daycare on the weekends he loves his teachers as well with my daughter. The teachers are very well educated and respectful as well with the director from this Bright side. I was a bit on the fence when i had read the previous comment below but once i step foot in there with my kids we got comfortable fast and my kids are learning a lot from this daycare. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone that is interested.
My experience with Grace Neighborhood Academy is wonderful. My daughter, Anearah Walker loves her school. She enjoys going to there and is always talking about how fun reading time is. Anearah comes home talking about her new friends, how to spell their names and do shapes and colors. She loves bringing home books from the school library every day. The staff here is friendly. Grace Neighborhood Academy has been a great experience and I recommend sending your children here. They have a lot to offer for the future. Sincerely Mickaline Coleman
