My husband wanted to go to a brazilian restaurant for his birthday. I was doing my research for a reasonable price and goodquality. I made some phone calls and other restaurant were $20 more for the buffet dinner. The salad was so good. I am not a salad person but I finished my plate. The bread was just baked to perfection. The meat, well let's say don't eat a lot of salad otherwise you will have no room for the perfect steak. I love the chicken garlic and the pork ribs (very tasty). We had spumoni for dessert and if I will not control myself I will have another around. Great service!!! Definitely will come back. BTW, the restaurant's entrance is not in the front of the Wilshire St., you have to go to the back and take the elevator or the stairs. Thanks M Grill for a wonderful dinner and awesome service.
I have been going to El Rincon Chileno since I was a child. I have read the previous reviews. Wow people are so ignorant on one visit you think you can judge an establishment. Well I must say people are not human if they can't give an establishment the benefit of a doubt that the next time they visit they would have a more pleasant visit. I read also a review were the review states that cooks are Mexican and the food resembles Mexican cuisine. If you have any cense of knowledge please get your facts corrects and the food is not of Mexican taste and not all cooks are Mexican. Only because they are not of the country Chile you cannot classify the cooks as any less. I once again want to let it be known that this restaurant cannot be in any way a restaurant that you would not like to visit again.
This very cool restaurant offers you an incredible selection of Brazilian food made fresh and served in large delicious portions. The food is always top notch and the price is amazing for all that you get. The place is casual and almost always crowded. They don't take reservations so be ready to order a glass of wine and wait. The indoor outdoor dining room is beautiful, but unfortunately they allow smokers which ruins it for everyone else. Bossa Nova deliver to your home, which is my favorite way to enjoy the exceptional traditional dishes or the amazing pastas and pizzas. Standouts are all pizzas, the salmon pasta, the Bossa Salad with large juicy shrimp and the traditional chicken served with black beans, rice and plantains.
I was born in Chile, this restaurant is the best and closest ( in food ) ( only) restaurant to go to for home cookin.. Yes... the service is bad. Yes... it's not in a good neighborhood...yes... it's kinda pricey..yes.. plan on being there an hour longer than you want. & YES, you will love the music, the dancing, the family atmosphere, the food. Owners are amazing and Mauricio the waiter is... well... Mauricio. He just..is. Accept, conquer.. and enjoy. If he knows you by name, your in.. for life. ( DUH )The people that truly B@#!tch have never been to a third world counrty or know how to deal with different cultures. Relax, be patient, listen and just enjoy. It's yummy.
Never been in a Jamaican restaurant that was so inviting. The decorum and cleanliness were a delight and a sight for sore eyes. Didn't get a chance to experience the cuisine, but if the appearance of the place is any indication on how the food is then there's no question that it is off the chart! I did have an opportunity to have one of their delicious non-alcoholic beverages that simply tickled my tastebuds. I loved it! Just wanted to check out the place because I heard about it and I can't wait to get back there to actually experience the cusisine, customer service and the ambience. Thanks, Derrick for being in the The Hood!
Imagine Brazilian bowls of amazing food! That's what you get here. Seems like more of a takeout or lunch spot, but went here for dinner before a concert and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Food was tasty, filling, and I couldn't even finish it. And I really wanted to finish it!! The bowels are served with meat, rice, black beans, and fried plantains. I had the frango (grilled chicken), and also tried the pichana (grilled beef). If recommend either! If you don't like one of the sides, you can get extra plantains, French fries, or other substitutions.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in LA for a splurge. The dining room's ambiance is amazing - dim lighting, large space and just beautiful. You'll be hard pressed to find anything on the menu that's not delicious as well. They start dinners off with this amazing fresh, hot flatbread with a tomato based spread. I especially like the gourmet taco appetizer which I sometimes just get as a meal because I don't want to share. Even the desserts are incredible. For your next date night, don't miss Beso.
I have been to this restaurant now 10+ yrs, they continue to make the most fulfilling experience for me and my families. I have had my birthday celebrated there and graduation dinner. The owner is the most generous and kind person you can meet. The waiter is patient and courteous. I live almost an hour away from restaurant but I an never hesitant to drive when I an in the mood for Chilean food. I thank the staff for the great and tasteful food and satisfying service.
I found out about this restaurant in the AAA magazine. It's very casual, and good prices. The food is very authentic and tasty. The plantains were probably the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is trendy, but casual and comfortable at the same time. I had the seafood plate - but looking forward to going back - their braised pork looked delicious, and I loved their salad selections.
We have had there establishment host numerous family events all with great success including my own wedding. The owner and staff are always so friendly and attentive to our needs, all restaurant may have a bad day but overall satisfied with the food and environment. If you are looking for a Dancing and Dinner establishment this is the place. Highly recommended!!!!!)
