i have been living in these apartments for over 3 years now and i could not be happier. yes people have bad and good complaints about anywhere that they live but hey thats just a venting process. i am not saying southtowne village is perfect because it is not, no place is, yes the other guy can complain all he wants about the rent increasing but try researching on how the economy is doing bro, if we didnt pay then the complex would have to start laying people off starting with maintinence, it would all go downhill from there, less maintinence means less repairs and upkeep on the place you live which would inturn evolve into a neverending loop leading to a slum apartment complex, southtowne does all they can to provide quality and fairness to its residents, ive never had a problem. ive paid my rent on time, and had no issues, the whole place is clean, inside and out, they keep up with the landscape, are very friendly in the office, roofs dont leak, no mold, working smoke alarms, the ac in my apartment omg i cannot find words for it, its like an industrial unit packed into a wall i LOOOOVE that air conditioner, and the heat in winter, oh yeah it works well, very well, and better yet if youre on the second floor like i was i rarely had to turn mine on because the heat from the lower apartment made its way up into mine, and its no worries because heat is included in the rent, my highest electric bill after 3 years has only been $88, the maintinence is fast too and very convenient, i woke up one morning and went to do laundry at 7:50ish as soon as i truned on the washer the hot water hose broke and started spraying everywhere, so i went and called the office, they werent open yet so i got transfered to the midwest main office, within 5 mins the maintinence guys were there, all the way from there homes might i add, hall way flooded and seeping into lower floor units, 5 hours later everything was repaired, clean and dried carpets everything, even minor repairs as well, disposal broke, they came same day, hole in the wall 3 hours patched up, the units are also veeeery spacious, big closets, decent sized kitchens with more counterspace then i need, and the area is quiet and safe. i would highly recommend this place to anyone looking.
