Dr. Irizarry used to be an excellent dentist who I never was afraid to go to when ever I needed. I think he has grown tired of his profession & doesn't care as much. What really gives him a black eye so to speak is his office manager Maria. She let me know in no uncertain terms she does not like me. Why this is I have no idea as I have always been very friendly & courteous to everyone in that office. She makes a half-hearted attempt at being nice but she comes across as being very insincere & phoney!! His receptionist is the polar opposite & is very sweet as is his dental assistant's. It seems his 2 assistant's do most of the work & speak very little English which makes it difficult to communicate with. They tell me to come in anytime I have a problem, however, when I call to come in, Maria always takes over the phone & puts me off for 2, 3 & even 4 weeks. I am a cash paying customer & I don't mean a $100 per visit either. We have paid in excess of $20,000 & my work is incomplete. It's been well over a year since I've been there & Maria does not make me feel like a welcome client. I got tired of going back over & over & over again. Dr. Irizarry should have completed the work I paid for. I highly doubt he even remembers my work has not been finished & what does that say about him????
As I said above, it's been well over a year & I have not received any call inquiring about why I haven't been back or to see how I'm doing. I put all my faith & money in Dr. Irizarry & I feel very let down.
