LOUD BUILDING/AREA+ SHADY MANAGEMENT with ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES = BAD PLACE TO LIVE!



I can not recommends Bermuda Gardens as a place to live.



Here is my review of Bermuda Gardens Apartments in South Miami, FL:



We lived in this building for a year, but if it had been up to us we would have left much sooner. First of all, this building seems nice when you first tour it but this is very misleading. What the manager, Gus, won't show you or tell you about is that it is a very loud place to live. We lived on the first floor and with the tiled floors and thin walls of this building, We could hear EVERY FOOTSTEP of the women who lived above us because they wore high heels. Can you imagine hearing high heels clicking around at 7 in the morning every day? Very annoying. The management does nothing to fix such situations and the neighbors don't have common courtesy to wear their loud shoes only when about the leave. They walk around in them and don't care about common courtesy.



More importantly, the apartment complex is located in a LOUD area. You will hear all the traffic of s dixie highway. Also, it is directly NEXT TO TACO BELL. Think about that real hard before you think to move here, bc on your tour during the daytime hours, you might not notice the DRIVE-THRU SPEAKERS in the noise of day, but you will sure hear them when you are trying to sleep in the middle of the night!! They are open very late into the middle of the night and the drive-thru speaker is amplified. It's horrible!



Also, the neighbors in this building are LOUD. Many people live in each apartment and they all face the common pool area, so you hear everyone. The walls are thin and is very easy to hear your neighbors conversations through the wall and especially anyone out on their "private" balcony. Also, any time someone uses the pool area YOU HEAR EVERY SINGLE WORD THEY SAY from inside your apt! Don't even think of peace during the day.



Also, the apartment building next door is very loud as well. You can hear the neighbors' conversations across the parking lot and into your unit!



Furthermore, the management is shady. The lease you sign is very restrictive. We would have left earlier but they were being shady about our deposits and trying to charge us out the rest of the year.



Trust me--you don't want to deal with the shady management and loud building at Bermuda Gardens Apartments.
