Worst gym ever! Lockers are gross and smelly. The owner uses very shady billing and double charges people then doesn't give them refunds. While I was there, the music stopped playing so I went to the front to ask why. They said the owner didn't pay the ""Charte"" bill so they shut it off. Then they laughed because it turns out the owner doesn't pay a lot of his bills and owes a lot of people around town money. In fact they said the trash outside hasn't been picked up in a month because he owes them money. There are no windows in the place, it's dark and dungy. They have the ceiling fans on high all the time so it's drafty. Not a good thing when you are trying to workout. Way over priced! The owner wants you to sign a high enrollment fee, plus pay two months in advance pus you have to sign a year contract! So to join you need to pay close to $200 up front. You cannot freeze or cancel your membership without paying a penalty of $100 and then they don't even process it so you still get billed. Stay far far away!
Love this GYM!!! I am excited to workout in such an enticing facility. First Class all the way, great location, friendly staff, VIP locker rooms, and I just can't say enough. This is the only real gym in town, otherwise your options are extremely limited. Hopefully your staying in South Lake, you won't regret it. I signed up my whole family, and they are loving it.

My fiance and I signed a year contract with push. After the year was up, we noticed that we were still being charged for services, even though we were no longer living in the area. We called right away, and thanks to Andrea, in less than two weeks the refunded money was posted to our account. Push was a great place to work out; friendly staff, clean, great classes, great equipment, and nice locker rooms.

My friend and I became members at this gym in early November 2009 with the intent of being there for only 6 months. The gym assured us we'd have no problem cancelling our memberships at any time. My friend later moved from the area and thus became the first one to try and cancel his membership. Well they wanted to charge him roughly $100 for breaching his contract even though the contract clearly stated that he was on a monthly program. Push Fitness had already charged his credit card and it wasn't until multiple attempts over several weeks that they finally refunded the amount.
I too eventually moved out of the area and called Push Fitness to cancel my membership on 2/23/2010. My contract was also a monthly deal and clearly stated to give them 30 days advanced notice, which I did. Push had charged my monthly dues on 2/22/2010 and I called the very next day. I was assured by Push that my membership was cancelled and I would not be charged again. Then 3/22/2010 rolls around and i noticed that my bank statement showed a monthly charge from Push. I immediately called them up and they said my account was still active. I spoke to Kim in the billing department and she to once again cancel my membership and refund my money. Several days later i still did not see a credit in my account so I called her back. She told me the credit was in the system and to wait a couple more days and if i sitll didn't see it, to call her back. I waited a week and still there was no credit. I tried calling her back only to receive the typical front desk excuses as to why Kim could not come to the phone; ""she's busy right now, can i take a message?"" ""she's in a meeting"" ""she's sick"". I have since left multiple messages with no response. Today (thursday) I called Push Fitness and notified them that if i do not receive a phone call by monday, I'll contact the BBB and file a complaint. That's more than enough time for them to call me back and rectify this simple problem.

I was a member of a gym before, I moved and canceled my membership. I had to close my checking account to stop them from debiting my account. I joined PUSh informing them that I would only be a seasonal member. I was offerd a seasonal contract. My wife and I have been charged for 3 months of inactivity while we were out of the country. We contacted the billig company and were told there was a small ""speed bump"" and that the accounts were taking longer than normal to update. We have since been charged another month's fees. I like the gym, but unless you can join without direct debit go somewhrere else.
