Love the food!
Love the food! The restaurant has a casual, comfortable feel (although small) and during the summer the deck view can't be beat! It's pretty slow, even when they aren't really busy, so plan on that. Otherwise, enjoy!

Best fish tacos!!!

OMG the fish tacos are too good. You can get them a number of different ways; all delicious. I love the cute Hawaiian theme inside and the beautiful view of the lake from the deck (open in the summer). They also do some really great community events. I have gone to their Christmas Cheer fundraiser for years. For a small donation they provide all you can eat food, silent auction, and live entertainment. They also have a local appreciation day. Who doesn't love that? Even though I am 10 hours away from Tahoe, Freshies will always be my fav.

Hawaiian restaurant. Menu selections include pulled pork sandwiches, fish tacos, chicken burgers? Staff was friendly. Ordered the fish tacos (choice of grilled, blackened, or jamaican jerq), the fish and chips, and vegetable tortilla soup. The jamican jerq fish tacos were awesome!!! The fish and chips sucked? small pieces of battered fried fish, not one big piece. The restaurant is inside a shopping center, no windows so a little dark. Friendly people and good service though.
