5- Star Nails and Spa

I wont go back there ever...not only was the services inconsistent...so were the prices...I tried to be friendly enough do some good...support local...but enough is enough...what really was the last straw...I got hit with a big sob story of how one of the workers needed an expensive eye surgery and my $2,000.00 cash gift ... would sure help...and oh yea my bleeding heart handed it over...

later I found out it was all a scam... on me...and wow. ..I dropped them completely...they didn't get another penny out of me. and I did plenty of my own word of mouth advertising about this..., in this community... so beware!!! best to stay away.

friendly and quality works for Spa Pedicure, Nu- Manicure, Acrylic & Gel Nails. Also they're providing the Sodas and Cold bottle water. I'm so relaxed it. Come and Check it out !!!

After a long day of work, my hands and feet were in need of pampering. As I was driving home I noticed 5 star nails. As I walked in I was greeted with a smile and hello from all the staff there. Even though it was really busy they still took the time to acknowledge my presence.

The person who worked on me is awesome ! She took the time to take care of me and did not rush at all. My nails came out very beautiful. I have to say, I'm very impress with her. After a month already my nails still looks like she just worked on them. I will definitely make my appointment with her again.

The place is very clean and they have very comfortable chairs. They have plenty of magazines and 2 television to keep you entertained.

My money was well spent here.

This place is clean and they do a wonderful pedicure. I have been a client for the past 8 years, and I have done my nails and toes for over 20 years!!! I have gone to a lot of different places and these ladies do the BEST pedicures with the best nail design around. I always get compliments on my toes, and I have NEVER had an infection or fungus. The facility is clean and newly remodeled and yes, they sterilize their equipment and clean the spas with cleaner. I have several friends that I have recommended to 5-star and they have recommended several friends. That's why they are busy! I have seen a lot of wedding parties and also girlfriends that go on a fun day or night out. My girlfriend even takes her husband, even when my husband gives him a hard time!!! I only gave 5-star a 4 star because, as the previous client said, their shellac has some problems. The color shellac is good but they don't have the technique quite right with a french. They look beautiful when they are done, but doesn't last as long as it should, so I prefer to get my fingernails done somewhere else. But, there is no other place that I prefer to get a pedicure!!!

I have been here twice now. The first time I was referred by someone at the tanning salon down the way. I went to get my eye brows waxed and was blown away. Lin? Went so far and beyond I tipped her double what I paid for my eye brows. Supper impressed. Second, was for the whole works, pedi, full set, and of course eye brow waxing. They were really busy but still made sure I was taken care of. I was in and out in about 2 hours and fully satisfied. Ya, communicating is a little hard but hello, they aren't American. If you want someone that speaks amazing English go to someone else. They are the sweetest people, always smiling and I will continue to go back.

I've been with this salon for about 2 1/2 years. Their AMAZING!! Not only they know how to do nails & pedi's but their staff is always friendly and warm. I also would recommend their waxing by Rachael, she is the "BOMB". I myself only deal with Lin & Rachael they are wonderful people. If I would recommend people if would most Definitely be "5 Start Nails". Trust you'll be satisfied after leaving this Salon, you'll want to come back for more!!!!!!! -Hi Rachael & Lin :)

Do not go here. I went in to get my nails done with shellack because it has helped me with my habit of biting my nails. I was so excited because I had it on previously from another salon but was loving that this was a couple bucks less. My nails were long and i asked for a manicure and the shellack because my cuticles needed some work. I told the lady doing my nails that i wanted to keep my nails long but to my absolute horror she kept filing my nails away and when she brought out the nail clippers! I made myself clear in the beginning saying i wanted them long. But ended up with short nails. The lady couldn't understand what i wanted because she didn't speak english which i didn't think was an initial problem but when i started telling her that i didn't want them short she would just smile and nodd. My nails are short and the shallack tips dripped into the upper part of my nail in the crack. When i noticed the red polish on the side of my nail i asked for the lady to fix it and instead she used one of her trimming objects to pick and cut skin away! It took three minutes to raise a fuss and get someone who spoke English to tell her that my skin wasn't the problem it was my nail. when i noticed in the beginning as she started to file away there were jagged edges and every time i told her and gave her my hand back she would cut more of my nail off instead of simply filing a pretty edge so my nails were even. If i could i would give this place 0 stars. If you are trying to grow your nails out NEVER EVER go to this place.

After suffering from a very painful infection of my left big toe for the past five days which required a doctor visit and a prescription for antibiotics, I'll never visit this establishment again. Very poor sanitation practices encountered while receiving what should have been a routine pedicure and manicure. Extremely poor experience.

The work stations and tools are unclean. I have been to this salon more than once, and each time the shop appeared dirty. The workers dont seem to follow infection control guidelines. I would not recommend this shop becasue of this.

There are several other shops in the same area that would be a better choice.

I have went to many salons looking for the perfect set of nails and I found it here! In other salons I was afraid to talk to them and let them know what i wanted, but here they are so friendly. I would definitly recommend 5 star nails.
