They have awesome ice cream and my kids love the animal farm, but do not ever pay to go on the munchkin hayride. What a waste of time and money. Tickets are 5 dollars a piece and you will wait in line forever to buy them. The advertising is extremely inconsistent with the st...moreart times. The flyer at the farm says it starts at 5:30 and the website says 5, but it actually starts at 6. They flyer states it is a 15 minute ride of excitement for children under 7. WRONG. It is a 5 minute ride through the same path as the adult ride and the characters you encounter are horrible. The actors can't even get there lines straight and who puts a boy in a dress with makeup and earrings, to play Dorothy. (did I mention he doesn't even wear a wig) Even children under 7 were confused as to why Dorothy was a boy. Even more disturbing is the fact that children under 7 are also seeing severed heads and scary monster props throughout the ride because it takes the same path as the adult ride. I will never attend a hayride at McCray's farm again and I will never recommend it to anyone else either. I did read the other reviews on here and I saw that McCray"s does not handle the hayrides, but if they are that bad then why do they still do business with this guy. The fact that they allow them to use there land and take advantage of people expecting a good time with their family makes the McCray's look just as bad.view less

There are no words to describe how horrible the "munchkins" hayride actually is. I have never written a review in my life and was so very disappointed with this children's event that I feel compelled to advise everyone with little ones to save your money. stick to ...morethe icecream (which is great) and visiting the animals because this hayride is not worth the wait, the money or confusion! (the start times are advertised for three different times. the website states it begins at 5pm...first ride is actually at 6) the ride itself is less than 10 minutes long, the "actors" were clearly bored and did not try to make this exciting for children. It is done along the same road they hold the "adult" hayride so along the way, your small child (in my case 3 and 1) will see severed heads and dead bodies laying on the ground while the very poor "wizard of oz" theme is played out...just..unbelievable! it clearly states on the website that refunds will not be given, they must expect people to complain after waiting in line for an hour with little ones just to be...almost shocked by how ridiculous this hayride is! would have received no stars but we do enjoy the farm.view less
