For the most part I always love Green Cab (in burlington, vermont) my husband and I constantly use these guys! pretty much have always ended up with nice drivers, who we have had lovely conversations with, and don't mind the fact that we are homeless.... today was an exception. Robert Logue, who drove with a "Yoshi" license plate this evening was atrocious. We tried making conversation like we always do, and he kept insisting that we were blaming him for being homeless. We get to our hotel, and my husband goes to take care of things, because an anonymous donor got the room, and the room was missing information, cab driver is rushing us, so Justin gets the room number, and has Robert take us over. We had a difficult time finding parking, I tried to offer suggestions, Robert was having none of it. Pulled up to a curb, my husband gets out, opens the hatch, slips on black ice, and tells me he will unload by himself because it is too dangerous for me. (I am disabled) Robert tries to say we are blaming him for the ice, and yells at us. We calmly told him that we aren't, Ribert yells some more, my husband finally yells back. Robert called dispatch saying he was scared for himself, and had the cops called. Robert then went to the office, knowing we needed to go back there to finalize check-in, and burrocaded himself in while he shouted at the motel manager, and refused to leave the premises until we were in our room, but we couldn't go into our room because we needed to finish check-in. So because of Robert, the hotel manager had to walk all the way over to us with the clipboard. The cops showed up, talked with us, and their exact words were "oh....this isn't anything...." and knew we were speaking the truth because we were calm and collected, and their experience with him mirrored the managers. So, when getting green cab, make sure you request to not have Robert Logue!-Lauren and Justin Newton.
