International Art Museum of America Offers a Fresh and Transcendent Art Experience in the Bay Area To walk casually through the International Art Museum of America on a hot summer day is so refreshing. The artwork transports one to exotic landscapes with misty mountains and flowing streams. Sweet and gentle animals of all kinds seem to leap from the canvas with a flash of color and vitality. It is so heartwarming to be with works of art that transcend this world and give us a glimpse into another land full of bliss and awe. Upon seeing craggy rocks, mysterious mist, cosmic universal motion, and the wondrous flow of the brushwork, one is not really aware of being in San Francisco or anywhere else. In fact, with serene landscapes and whimsical structures that bring out the playful child in us, we are simply in a state of joy. As the sound of a nearby waterfall gently soothes our soul and sculptures of color and purity grace us with their presence, our family is at peace. To put it simply, to be in the presence of such unsurpassable artistic mastery, which is at the core of these magnificent artworks, is a true blessing. Exhibits created by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, who was recently awarded the World Peace Prize, bring such unimaginable beauty to this world. Magnificent artwork by other highly distinguished artists are also on display. It is our great fortune to become members of International Art Museum of America and to be able to view these inspirational works now on display at the International Art Museum of America in San Francisco, CA. –Bernstein Family visit to IAMA, July 3rd, 2011

A family can easily spend an entire day getting engrossed in all the hands on exhibits. We have visited the Exporitorium several times over the years and our teen children can still always find something new and exciting. We love the new location on the pier. The only wish I have for this place is that customers have access to hand wipes or sanitizer. The place screams germs as by the nature of the museum, everyone is invited to touch and interact with the exhibits! :)
I visited this museum a while back to check out a terra cotta warriors exhibit. It was an outstanding display to say the least. My fiancé thought he was going to have to go all the way to China to see the terra cotta warriors, so to be able to see some of the authentic statues in San Francisco was pretty incredible! We spent some time touring the rest of the museum and we're impressed by all it had to offer! Overall a great museum to check out!!
