I went in about 9 months ago to get a tattoo on my hip. The design was beautiful. The tattoo artist drew it up by hand, without anything to look at. He was also a very nice guy; completely laid back, and had great taste in music. The lady that works with him was awesome as well. She does the piercing. Anyway, fantastic customer service.
The tattoo turned out beautifully. This was my second one, so I sort of knew how to take care of it and what the healing process was like. About a week after I had gotten it, I noticed a dark spot. It looked like a bruise. My other tattoo had not bruised, so I was new to that. I waited another week and went back to show him the tat, as instructed.
He was kind of busy, but he did take time to come over and look at it. I asked him about the spot. He told me that it was a bruise and would eventually heal up. ...It still has not healed.
I went with my friend to another tattoo artist recently to watch her get some work done. I started talking with the guy, and eventually showed him my tattoo. He told me that the guy that gave it to me most likely went too deep, and ink spread underneath the skin. The only way to fix it is to tattoo over it, or get it removed with a laser.
So like I said, the customer service was incredible, but the final outcome could have been better. This, however, is just my experience. I want to believe it's a very good place, because to people are so nice. Besides, my friend got a beautiful, detailed tattoo on her calf the same day, from the same artist. It healed up nicely, no problems. The colors are very vibrant and have not faded at all.
