My experience at Howard's Furniture Company, Inc in Smyrna, GA was disturbing to say the least. I went in to purchase a full size mattress and was given a queen size mattress from the show room floor. No one was there to help me load it into my car when I got it to my car I noticed the showroom mattress was a queen not a full. Again I had no one to help me load it. The sales person nor manager lifted a finger in or out of the store. I slid the mattress across the floor and it got some dirt on it. The manager started saying I would have to pay for it because she could no longer sale the mattress. All I wanted was a full mattress but they refused to sale me one and made me pay $50 for the 2 small dirt marks before they would credit me for the mattress I they did not even have in stock. I typically never buy poor quality furniture but this was a basic mattress for my teenager’s room. I do not recommend shopping at this store unless you are prepared to load the furniture yourself. Strike 1 - Sold me a mattress they did not even have in stock. Strike 2 – Blamed me for their mistake giving me a queen mattress off the showroom floor. Strike 3 - Tried to short change me after I had to pay them $50 for nothing. They would not refund my money until I paid them $50. Really bad customer service.



I paid double the price for better quality mattress down the street. I was treated with the respect I deserve.

I was the owner and CEO of Kar Centre in Smyrna. I have furnished my offices and home with Howard's Furniture since 1995. The quality and superb customer service is why I will always buy from the Howard family. When your a customer, your treated like family.
