I called on Tuesday 2/16/10 to schedule an appointment for grooming. The receptionist stated that there were no available appointments on Tuesday but I could bring my dog in on Thursday 2/18/10 for grooming. At that time no time was given for the appointment. So I go in this morning around 9:30 am and receive cold stares from both ladies at the front desk when I say I'm here for a grooming appointment. I was then told that there would be a $10 late fee charged for bringing the dog in after 9am. I stated that no one told me that I had to be there by 9am. They then said you have to take that up with the groomer so I said I will. When I got there to pick up my dog the total charge was $55 without anyone giving me a statement showing what the charges were for. So I asked what the $55 consisted of. The lady said $45 for grooming and the $10 late fee. I told them I wasn't paying that as I stated earlier that morning so she then asked if I wanted to speak with the groomer. She called Terrance and said he was downstairs he did not even have the decency to come up and consult with me about the issue. Per the receptionist he said the charge stands. So I asked for a copy of my dogs records and said we would not utilize the services of Animal Care Clinic again and to remove my information from the system to avoids receiving appointment reminders in the future. The customer service at this place STINKS!!!!!!!
