Dr. Sue is a wonderful caring vet. I drive out of my way to use her services rather than a local vet. Very compasionate about each and every animal she sees. One of the best!

Dr. Sue is the best vet I have ever dealt with. In fact, we drive from the far south side of Milwaukee all the way up to Slinger to see her. She is caring and compassionate. One of our cats developed diabetes and she worked with us tirelessly through calls and emails as we tried to get the diabetes under control. Our other cat has numerous issues as well and Dr. Sue has treated with him the same level of care and compassion. Dr. Sue treats our pets like they are her own. I cannot believe the review below, as Dr. Sue is never snippy or bitchy. Also, she just opened a new clinic that is large and beautiful and spacious. The other staff members there are great as well. 5 stars without a doubt!

I met Dr. Sue about 5 years ago when I had purchased a puppy. I knew from that first visit that she was a great vet as well as person, she got down on the floor and played with my puppy. Dr. Sue is good at explaining things so that the average person can understand what things mean and she always is concerned about the costs to you. While still keeping in mind what is best for the pet. One of my dogs is a little shy at the office and she does everything she can to make it a positive experience for her. My other dog just about jumps out the window as soon as we pull in the driveway, and then drags me in to Dr. Sue's office and jumps in her lap, she is a little in love with her. She is always there when I need her and is very compassionate in times of sadness. The staff is also very compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Sue to anyone that has a pet, she treats them all as if they are her own.

I have known Dr Sue Fluhr for 7 years, and during that time, she has cared for several dogs I have fostered through a rescue as well as my own pets. She has been a wonderful vet:- She's great at tracking down challenging issues and figuring the best treatment- She is kind and compassionate toward all animals, and so are her wonderful staff- She is always patient with me, helping me understand problems and appropriate treatment- She does a wonderful job explaining options when there are serious problems, including the cost involved- Her fees are extremely reasonable and fair- She has made herself available to help me and my pet when emergencies have come upAnd, when I have had to say good bye to a loved companion, Dr Sue has made the process as peaceful as possible, with no rush, and with a ton of love and compassion.Dr Sue moved her practice from the Milwaukee area to Hartford a few years ago; I make the drive because I don't believe I will find a better vet closer to home.

Dr. Sue Fluhr has been the veterinarian for my dogs for over 5 years. She is thorough with her check ups and has excellent surgical skills. Her office hours are flexible and her rates are reasonable. She has the most compassion for animals that I have ever seen in a vet. Dr. Fluhr and the clinic have re-arranged their schedules to accommodate a couple of emergencies that I have been through with my dogs. When the inevitable happens and you lose a beloved pet to complications of old age or to disease, Dr. Sue and her staff handle the situation professionally, yet with the most care about your pet as well as you and your family. I recommend Dr. Sue Fluhr and the Tender Touch Veterinary Care Clinic highly. I would never go to another vet. It is worth the trip I make from the Milwaukee area.
