When I first saw the name Royal Fork, I immediately assumed it was a Chinese or Asian style buffet. I was very surprised to find out that it was in the style of Old Country or Old Town buffet back in Portland, OR where I'm from. The food is homestyle and they have a great variety of foods from Prime Rib to Mac and Cheese and everywhere in between. When we were there it was a Friday night and the place was packed. There were two tour groups and two football teams plus a bunch of others, and yet despite this the food was fresh every time I went up to get more. Very impressed and will definitely go back and suggest to the people I know.
It's all about the food here. Chef Tina knows her stuff, and is eager to help, whether it be the gourmet grilled cheese, the salmon en croute, or the impossibly good date rounds.
I've worked here for 10 years and still when I get asked where I want to eat I get made fun of for saying.. "fryn pan" hahaah
