        This review is written about Contemporaries, Inc. in downtown Silver Spring, MD. They told me that I would be in the office for two hours to test and interview, and advised that I would be tested on MS Word, Excel and typing. Once testing was completed, moments later, there was a series of written exams that they never told me about. Otherwise, I would have prepared. The documents were poor quality and the print was very small on parts of the written exam making it difficult to read. When I told them I had to be at my current assignment by a certain time, they did not ask if I would like to return another day to complete the written portion of the exam, not to mention that the office staff are unprofessional. I overheard the staff engaging in small-talk conversations about clients, etc., that was not in favor of the parties being discussed. After my results, I got funny stares from the staff, which I think was quite rude. I generally don't test well, but it's not because I don't know the material, and I probably would have done better if they were honest up front and advised that there were going to be multiple testing. I will never return to this company. I thought, if they openly talk about their clients and others around potential employees, what makes me different? This company is not at all what I had invisioned. The staff left such a bad taste in my mouth that I immediately threw away the employee handbook and other literature that was given me as soon as I arrived home, and I will not be calling to check-in for assignments.
