Rossmoor Pastries

We love this bakery and use it for every birthday in our office. There are a lot of cakes to choose from. We especially love the marble cake. The buttercream frosting is delicious ! They also have a lot of different fillings and the staff is helpful in coming up with suggestions on what tastes good with what. I am getting ready to order two more birthday cakes and know they will help me come up with themes. The last theme we had was for a "goth girl" and they came up with the coolest spider web design. The art work was terrific! They also have a a huge wedding cake section and I've been to a wedding where their cake was served. It was beautiful and and tasted great!

I just read the other review and had to comment. I have seen children misbehaving, and my staff does ask parents to control their children for their own safety. Pounding on the glass cases, Standing on chairs, opening the cake display case, and running around unsupervised is unacceptable. We make every effort to be helpful, provide excellent customer service, and a wonderful product. The bakery is not a playground. We love children and have a lot of fun with them.

Icing sticks to your mouth like wax and doesn't melt. Customer service was null and void since I had a child with me that wasn't sitting perfectly still in a chair. Was spoken to rudely by 2 staff members and disrespected when I tried to bring it up with the owner who could care less. I was told there will be a notice put on the door to not bring children (I'm wondering if this will actually happen or if it was just more rudeness). I do not recommend this place, especially if you have children or you want an uplifting experience from people who care.
