        OMG the floors!

        I am on tdy for 4 weeks. My company chose this hotel. The location is in close proximity to my work. The hotel is attractive enough. The parking lot is clean. The front lobby is attractive and the desk clerks are courteous. The downside is the hotel allows smoking in some of the rooms. The rooms are mediocre and dated. The beds are comfortable enough but not wonderful. The pillows are too used. The bedspread is not clean. The maids halfway clean the room if they know you are staying a long time. The worse part of my visit is the floors in my room are filthy. I have ruined several pairs of socks and even house slippers. They just won't come clean. The carpeting needs to be replaced. As far as value for the money, I guess it's ok. I would not choose this hotel for my stay if I could have made my own arrangements.
