I had a soft spot in my roof. Ed and Dennis came out and looked at it. Said that they would not be able to get to it for about 3 weeks but that it looked like there would be a need to replace not only the drywall but also the insulation and plywood, possibly the trusses due to mold. They asked me to cut out a bigger hole and they would come out and look at it to get a better idea of cost.

I cut out an area like I was asked to and called Dennis. He got me mixed up with another job and after about 10 minutes remembered me. I told him that I cut out the area like I was asked to and he could come out anytime. I was told that typically they don't do that and would charge but since he was getting the job anyway would just add it to the bill (I had not yet told him I was hiring him). He came out and said that the trusses would need to be replaced and it would be at least 10k but he would talk to Ed to see if they can do it cheaper. I advised him I needed an estimate as the insurance may be covering some of that. After about a week or so, no word. My husband called Ed who stated that this has been handed over to Dennis. My husband then called Dennis back and he actually said he forgot about us. He would try to put together and estimate between jobs. Keep in mind, I at this time have a tarp on my rood, it's been 3 weeks since we first called these guys and now, he forgot about us. We told him not to worry about it we would be going with someone else.

Now, with a bathroom covered in moldy insulation and drywall, we have to start all over again. I have read all the reviews and everyone seemed really happy. I guess we were just not that important or had a big enough job. My husband was told that they don't accept credit cards but some sites state that they do like Home Adviser. Not sure why.

I was really impressed with the customer service we received. I feel like we made new friends in Dennis and Vern.
