    I have been a customer at Margaret Ann's Hallmark for 15 years. I love this store!!! When I need a gift or a card this is my first stop. The sales associates are always willing to help me find the perfect gift. They are always helpful and friendly.

    Rude Cashier

    I was in yesterday to purchase a card for my friend who's mother passed away. When I went up to pay I was on the phone with this friend who had just lost her mother. I don't normally stay on the phone when I'm paying, but with the issues she was having, I wasn't going to hang up with her to quickly purchase one card. The lady behind the register asked if I... read more had my Hallmark card and I told her not to worry about it this time, I was pressed for time. She rang up the card and I gave her the money. She just tossed the card and change at me saying something under her breath about the phone. She didn't thank me for stopping in, just shook her head and walked away. I realize that in some cases phones can make you seem impersonal, but I was only there to purchase a card, not to become friends with the elderly lady. I wasn't rude and I answered her question - there are a million other Hallmarks to go to and you can bet I will NEVER EVER go back to this one. Having the phone up to my ear was my business and she shouldn't have passed judgement because she didn't know what I was talking about. Not professional at all!!!!
